So I never went into labor, and waited as long as I personally could, before my doctor became concerned, ultrasound showed her estimated weight (Which was wrong) but also showed her head was a bit large. So my doctor scheduled a c-section the next morning (2/22/13). We arrived at about 7:30am, and started prepping. Probably the worst part of that was the big horse size needle they need to draw like a damn qt. of blood from to spray on after surgery. I would do the spinal black again before that lol. The spinal block went so smooth, and I actually enjoyed the sensation a little, after being in pain for so long, it was a nice break. My blood pressure did dip too low, and they gave me something to raise it. That was absolutely crazy as far as feelings and sensations go lol. Soon they were to test for pain, and my doctor knew my sense of humor and goes "Ok well I'm going to do something that would normally hurt.. a lot" and then "Alright you didn't feel that?" and when I asked she had started the incision. LOL. After a second something that sounded like a flat line started, and I asked calmly If I had just died. And they laughed. Soon my SO was allowed in, and almost immediately after Lily was being removed/born STRANGEST feeling ever from the whole experience was her being pulled/push/tugged out of my abdomen. She cried almost immediately very loudly, very healthy. Clean her up and brought her over. She was perfect. Then off to the nursery with Daddy. I was sewn up and went into recovery. She was born at 10:42am weighing 8 lbs 3 oz. She's absolutely perfect and worth the wait! She did have one complication we discovered. I am one of the only people when they say she didn't have room, and I'm too small. And it actually be the case. Her foot had no room, size is on par, but her right foot turns out to the right a bit. They say it should correct itself, if not I have to start putting left shoes on it, to try and get it to turn back in. Otherwise she is absolutely amazing. She's turn onto her side, and holds her head up already. Breastfeeding went to pot. We're bottle feeding and stimulating my nipples and we'll be trying again once my milk comes in.
Late birth story, and not the most exciting as far as they go. It's been a rough few days. I've recovered very quickly I can walk, eat, hold her. And I feel just find I was walking 5-6 hrs post OP. Over load on pictures sorry :3
