sharp aching pains/cramps (not round ligament or sciatic pai
posted 24th Feb
So I'm 17 weeks into my pregnancy (as of tomorrow) and I have been having sharp, sometimes stabbing, aching pains - mainly strictly located on my right side around my hip. This is my second pregnancy, so I know what round ligament and sciatic nerve pains feel like, and neither are the cause. I have heard that sometimes with previous c-sections that you can most always count on having pain in your incision area due to scar tissue adhesions, which can cause pretty rough discomfort through pregnancy, but I don't understand how I could be hurting this bad, I know it's not necessarily pain in my uterus, like contractions, but sometimes it gets so bad that I have a hard time moving around - walking, let alone rolling over into a different sleeping position, it's miserable.
In addition to all of this, I'm wondering if any of these problems are spanning from a subchorionic bleed I was experiencing around my 14 week mark, they said it was a SMALL tear/abruption in my placenta, no bigger than 3cm. I was scared, but luckily I have not had any really RED bleeding or leak of fluid since and my baby is doing perfectly fine, in fact is measuring a week ahead it's so healthy. I still can't understand other than the c-section pain why I would only brown spot some and clear up (no bleeding) and hurt the way I have been? Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
