Sloppy joes can be made with hamburger or turkey (make it open faced sandwich to save some bread), mac n cheese with corn or peas mixed in is yummy and makes crappy brand name mac n cheese taste better. You can get some on their way out veggies and fruits cheaper at some places if you want fresh, just ha e to use them up right away. Adding potatos to things you make can also make it last longer and help fill you up.

if you have a crock pot.

4-8 chicken breasts cut into chunks.
1 packet of zesty italian dressing mix
1 pat of butter.

mix and put in crock pot for 5 hours.
add 1 packet of cream cheese and if you have any frozen veggies like peas on hand. turn on high for 30 mins, stirring occasionally.

make a big pot of minute rice. if you have any chicken or veg broth on hand you can make it using that for added flavor.

server chicken and sauce over rice.

you can do the same thing on the stove top, but the chicken doesn't come out nearly as tender and fall apart.
