Throwing up three y/o

In the past maybe two hours DS has been saying his tummy hurts and thrown up six or seven times. Between the times he's sick he acts fine but then will cry and i know to get a bowl under him. :/

He is drinking and has been okay for about 15 mins now.
I gave him a children's pepto tablet but I haven't given him any ibuprofen yet.
I was waiting for him to stop throwing up long enough.

What else should I do for him?

He's never been sick like this before  

Make sure he stays hydrated, check for fever.

unless you think its food poisoning you just have to wait it out.

if it gets lots worse and there is no improvement in the next few hours take him into ED - if he cant keep any fluids down at all and has runny poops he'll get too dehydrated & may need an IV/ anti nausea meds.

Lots of fluids, lay him down on the couch or something with a cold/damp wash cloth on his forehead and keep checking on him (temps etc)

Hopefully its just a 24hr bug

It'd also be a good idea to record times on when he throws up, goes to the bathroom etc - if you need to go to hospital they'll ask you to check hydration levels etc.

I think its been almost an hour since the last time he threw up, and now he is saying he is hungry.

Should I let him eat if so what?

He says he doesn't want to eat anymore so I think his tummy is bugging him again

Dont push it as long as he is staying hydrated I wouldn't worry to much yet. You can also get pedialyte popsicles those always make my kids feel better when they are feeling crappy.

If he's still throwing up tomorrow should I take him to urgent care?

My ex said to take him to the er tonight but my mum won't take us.
(and his car seat is covered in puke :/)
