Newborn baby pictures at Kaiser hospitals

So I was wondering if anyone had a free newborn baby portraits offered at Kaiser permanent e hospitals? Also, what exactly you call it? freebies or newborn photography ? I want to ask my Kp staff but don't know what to mention it as..?

At the hospital (kaiser) they offered to do newborn pics we didnt want to. I was in the process of being discharged and we had a professional photographer for newborn shots. When I had my first (not kaiser) they took pics but you had to pay for them. You got a small sheet with a few proofs but if you wanted anything you had to pay.

oh that's nice ...so every hospital offer this service? i want to get it done so was wondering usually the hosp people approach after delivery of baby or how exaclty it works, i wnat to know about Kaiser sinc ei have that insurance

With kaiser the photographer just came in my room the next morning asked if we wanted pictures and that was it.

they do pictures but at my hospital we had to buy them. the second to smallest package was 60 bucks and only had 1 picture i could chose.

Most hospitals either do the pictures or they contract a company to do pictures for all of the new babies. Taking the pictures is free but if you want prints or anything you'll have to buy them.

They'll come into your room and ask you if you want to do pictures. If they don't come before you're discharged then ask your nurse about it. Just tell her you'd like to get pictures done and nobody has came to talk to you about it.

I had them done. They were 250, but I got a CD and all the pictures/rights to them.

Damn $250!? I work for a company that does pics in the hospital and we only charge $110 for the cd with print rights
