That tends to be it for me too. Dude catches feelings. I guess they can't handle a cute girl who can be one of the guys and is easy to get along with.
I'm a pain in the ass as a girlfriend but as a friend m super easygoing.

My husband can be friends with whoever he wants to. I'll be damned if he ever thought he could control who I am friends with. There should be boundaries, of course, and respect should be maintained.

I know! When I told me what happened everyone would look at me like I'm crazy because they all knew. I was in such denial!! I should've know...we would literally walk holding hands, or him carrying me around...Those were such fun days...now I miss being in HS lol

I have 2 best friends. One of which is male. We have kissed before. That's it.

If SO suddenly developed a close female friend I would not be happy. It's different if the friendship was prior to relationship

This also, but that guy friend is gay and were still friends. He just lives like 1000 miles away. Other than him i have never had a guy friend that didnt try to get w me. So annoying

My best friend is male and we've never had any issues. But we also have no desire to be with each other and totally aren't each others types lol.

As for friends with an ex, I wouldn't know.


Eta. My husband's best friend is also female.

It honestly depends.

If my husbands girlfriends are friends with me as well I am totally fine with them being friends. But if I have made multiple attempts to be friends with them and they only continue to talk to my husband and talk smack about me to my husband, then they have no business being friends.
