Do you have this carseat?

posted 24th Feb
We went today to get a seat for the new baby. We originally planned on getting this one, the graco snugride 30

but 2 stores and no luck later I was pissed off and determined to come home with a seat, so we ended up with this one, the evenflo triumph

after reading the stats and comparing both seats I felt more secure with the triumph anyway, but I wanted some opinions from people who have/had it.

I have one that is similar to the evenflo. It's not identical, but almost. I've actually got my 14 month old in it, rearfacing, and my 2 year old in the same one forward facing. I'll NEVER use another type of carseat honestly. The straps adjust with knobs on the sides, which is very convenient. And they can stay in it until they move into a booster. I love it!

I have the Triumph LX, not sure if it's very similar but it LOOKS similar. If yours is anything like mine I love it. We bought it three years ago for my son and are now still using it for my daughter. It definitely stands the test of time.

Actually after looking at it, mine are the same model of the pic you posted, just different colors. But it's the same exact carseat.

Yeah, My almost 4 year old can fit in it safely, that really helped sell me on it. And he's tall. A lot of the reviews were bitching about the knobs being smushed into the seat, but I cant forsee having to tighten and loosen the straps enough to be an issue...I adjusted my sons straps and left them that way, you know?

Yeah I know what you mean. Anyway, you won't be disappointed! Like I said, I'll never use another type of carseat. I love it so much! LOL

Good. I feel good about it...even though I bawled like a sissy bitch in the store because they NEVER have the things I want when I come to buy them. Stupid hormones >.<

I have the evenflo triumph 65 LX.I adore it. It fits in our tiny car, the belt tightening and loosening knobs rocks, and its a super easy install. My only let down was that i wish it could brace to give us a tad more room but that's really asking ALOT for our small car and the fact that its not a super expensive seat and I knew it couldn't when I bought it. Just saying if it could brace, it would go from 98% awesome to 100% awesome lol

LOL yeah I always cried when I was pregnant, and then for about a month after I had the baby. Damn baby blues! LOL But I ordered mine online. They don't carry it in our local wal-mart...I order lots of stuff online when I can't find it in the store.

I'm going to be buying a new car seat a while away from now , but I'm going to assume they'll have the same ones by the time I'm 25 weeks or so. I'm leaning towards a Graco Headwise 70 or another Diono Radian, but the Evenflo Triumph is a great seat. I never have owned one, but my sister got one for her youngest (for either her or her husband's car I can't remember) and it fits her big one year old rear facing for a little longer for sure and it looks super comfy. Looks pretty good for any sized baby and I've known of people with pretty big toddlers and bigger little kids to fit in them.
