ditch work for a needed relax day
posted 24th Feb
Paid off all my debt!!!! and now I wanted to pamper myself but my weekends I spend with my son. so my only option is to take a day off work....I also don't get any days to sleep in because my bd has our son on Sunday afternoons-Tuesday nights.I would LOVE to sleep in for once and get mani/pedi, dye my hair, and get a facial. would you do a pamper day vs. another typical boring day at the office???? BTW--I would be using a personal or sick day and getting paid.

I would request a personal day off.

I'd do it!
I'm hoarding a personal day to take in the spring so I can go shopping with my mom and have a whole girls day. Helloooo pedis.

Only if it's a personal day.
If you take a sick day and come in with your nails and hair done, you're likely to get in some trouble.

Take a personal day. My mom does it pretty often and I don't blame her. She's 50 and still working two jobs so she can take care of herself.

Do it. I know how I definitely need those kinds of days sometimes.
You will be more productive in the end with a complete day of relaxation.
