It's normal. I was devastated when our oldest wanted to sleep in his big boy bed. Luckily I got pregnant shortly after and counted down the days until baby snuggles lol

Ahhh i didn't co sleep and I want to cry for you  So I'm thinking it's got to be normal for you to feel that way. But as I'm sure you'll repeatedly hear, it's great he's able to transition so easily  They say attachment parenting helps them with their independance and there you go proof ! Hope it gets easier for you. I sleep on DD floor anytime I need to be close or she's not feeling well... weird I know

You're so lucky! I want another LO so bad, & now that mine is growing up so fast, it'd be the perfect time. wahhh.

I got super sad when Jae started sleeping in her own bed. Even though the 3 of us didn't fit in a queen, I still wanted her to sleep with me and the baby. I love knowing she's right next to me, and I don't get that feeling when she's in her own bed.

I feel like my heart is broken. After typing this I literally have tears in my eyes   It's just one more thing that proves he's growing up so fast!

But then the baby turns into a toddler and moves out of the bed too. It a vicious cycle.

Thank you!!! I feel like I want to just keep him in my bed, but I know it's good for him to be independent too. I'm glad he's not scared & he WANTS to sleep in his bed, but it's still so sad. I probably won't get much sleep tonight. It feels so weird to me that he will be sleeping in an entirely different room than me

I just got my 3.5 year old in his own bed this month.. I'm expecting agsin and our bed isn't big enough for 4. I miss him in the middle of the night.. SO thinks I'm nuts, but I can't help it.

Well let me give ya a little hope, if ur kid is anything like mines he'll sleep in his bed until the excitement wears off then comes back to ur bed...yup happened to me. Now I got her and the baby to snuggle with, it has it's ups and downs why? Cause while I luv snuggling with her she doesn't like the fact sometimes mommy has to feed (breastfeeding) baby lol

I literally started to cry a little when I went to bed last night without him. I had no idea it would be this hard.   But I'm so proud of him for doing so well & sleeping in his bed all night without making a peep!!

But tonight, he's back in my bed   I figured I'd let him decide where he wants to sleep on what night & he said my bed tonight. I'm secretly jumping with joy. hahaha.
