i had low iron the entire time i was pregnant. I craved ice so much!!! i went through a bag every few days

Is that a low iron thing? I didn't have anything like this with any of my pregnancies. The only change is my taking progesterone shots this pregnancy.

I was anemic during my pregnancy, and never craved it.

Yeah, iron deficiency can cause cravings for non-food substances (ice, paper, clay...etc) You can google it and it will give you a bunch of side effects of low iron

I hate Google lol hence why I revert to BG first.

I'm 37 weeks, almost 38 and found out I had low iron at about 24 weeks, they put me on iron suppliment pills but I have yet to take them because I hate swallowing pills, I just been taking iron flinstone vitamins. But I been craving ice ever since then.

A lady I worked with would eat newspaper when she was pregnant. So I knew something was off the second I was like I just want to eat a huge bowl of dirt! I never had the same feeling for paper though.

I do, and I eat crushed ice like crazy!!
