Question about wood.

LOL The title makes me laugh because my mind is in the gutter.

Anyways, I got some whitewood molding, and I'm using it to make an A-Frame tent, well, it's too tall for the fabric. So, I'm wondering if I were to take it back to Lowe's, would it be expensive to just have them cut it to the length I need? I don't have the equipment to do it at home. Or would it be cheaper just to get new wood? I paid $3 a piece for them.

I would just see if I friend has a saw to cut it to length for you.

If you got it from there I don't see why they wouldn't help you

Go to Home Depot they'll cut it for free. I worked there and we always do it for free and if you bought it at lowes they should cut it for you.

Just act like you bought it there - they should cut it for free.

Do just go over there and tell them the length I need and they should do it for free? I just don't want to end up paying more that the initial price for cutting lol. I can't find the receipt, does that matter any? They all still have the bar codes on them.

Shouldn't matter if youdont have a receipt. just go to lowes and tell them you need it cut and you bought it there. At Home Depot people walked in and got it cut never matter but Home Depot is more customer friendly and junk.


If I'm not mistaking lowes has this thing were they can pull up your old purchases as long as you used a debit card or something like that.
