I would tell him because it sucked ass that nobody smurfing told me smurf until a girl I had never even met before decided to tell me. I hate when people say 'don't do smurf, not your business.' Think about the person being cheated on & who has NO idea about it.

Not your marriage to be concerned about.and your mom is right even though you should not of even told her.

I've been both in her shoes and in the other person's. I personally am very thankful someone ratted me out when I was having an affair because I was being a heartless prick smurf and my DH deserved better than that. he deserved the truth and I hadn't the balls to tell him.

As you know I've been in this situation, I cheated on your now SO 5 years ago when we were dating, got pregnant and I told him right away. I thought he deserved to know that I did him wrong. He didn't leave me because of that though Jacinda, he left me because him and I never truly loved each other and weren't happy together. It was all about our kids, That's why we got married. I think you should talk to your friend and tell her that either she tells her SO or you will because you dont think what she did or is doing is right. If you are afraid of losing her as a friend then just stay out of it and hope that she will tell him.

yea he told me too, i know all the reasons. Like i said tell her that you will tell him if she doesnt, or that somebody will and if he finds out from someone other than her it will be a lot worse.
