healthy alternatives?

Looking for a healthy alternative to milk with less calories but will taste similar or better used in cereal, shakes, or with chocolate added for chocolate milk.....?

Also anyone have other healthy alternatives to other foods that would be less calories? TIA

Well, your options are basically rice milk, almond milk, and soy milk. I believe almond milk is the lowest in calories. Just be very careful looking for milk and milk substitute products that are marketed as diet, often when they remove fat it's replaced with a TON of sugar and chemicals that interfere with metabolizing and ultimately make it just as bad as the full fat full sugar alternatives.

I'd try almond milk. Personally I use soy, but it tends to be about equal in calorie count to regular dairy.

Yes, almond milk. Diamond Breeze makes an unsweetened one that is 35-40 cals pr serving. That is half as much as skim milk.
Tastes pretty good. I like it in cereal a lot.

Does it have an almond flavor or its plain? I don't really like almond flavoring.
