Hair

I have noticed that my hair has been shedding a lot when i brush it. When i pull it up as if i am putting it in a pony tail i have noticed about maybe a inch or two gone. Its not falling out but when i brush i do notice more coming out. I take biotin and it has helped me to get it to the length i want. I am still taking it, is there anything else i can do to help with this problem. Any products you ladies use would be helpful. TIA !

Putting it up creates all sorts of problems. Too much moisture at the base. Not enough moisture at the ends. So it falls out.

I don't really wear it up anymore because i have noticed that breaks it.

What kind of shampoo do you use? I would suggest switching. Certain brands make my hair fall out sometimes. Over time I have learned which ones are good for my hair.

I go to the salon about every week for a wash and blow out. I purchased a new one that has olive oil and vitamins along with keratin. Otherwise i just let them use w.e they have at the hair salon.

Maybe see if they use the same kind every time for a couple of weeks. If they do it could possibly be part of the problem.

Keratin has to be infused with heat. There's a keratin after wash that helps hold in a keratin treatment, but keratin shampoos are BS.

Someone mentioned carrot oil. I went out an got it so hopefully I see a change.
