Your relationship is on edge and you think its best to take a step back.

If he is as nice as you say he should understand.

Tell him that you can't talk to him anymore because it is not healthy for your marriage. Tell him you wish him the best and hope he finds happiness.


Then unfriend him right then.

Tell him the truth. He should definately understand.

Well if you completely cut him out of your life, there is nothing he can do. It means you dont see him, dont talk to him, and have absolutely no contact with him. Also if he would try to make things worse, then is being disrespectfull to you, and to your marriage, which is an even bigger reason to cut him out.
