i posted this the other day but some told me it isnt normal... 7 month dd has always been a great sitter... out of no where she will throw herself backwards onto pillows. we were almost done with support too. she wont be upset or anything, just plants her feet and throws herself. SIL says not norm???

I don't really see why that's not normal

That seems normal to me. My niece did that...I mean you could ask for reassurance. LOs do strange things, lol.

I don't think it's bad, I mean unless she was to try it without the pillows behind her. She probably thinks it's fun, honestly. Kind of like when kids jump on a trampoline or a bed & fall back on their butts.

My son falls face down for fun, lol. He always does it on soft ground, and catches himself so he doesn't hit his face on the carpet, but the closer his face gets, the funnier it is to him. Scares the bejeesus out of me sometimes.
