No contact order

If you have a no contact order that goes along with your probation. Does it just end that set date or do you have to go to courtto make sure its okay to drop the no contact order, or something? I am unsure. My friends probation ends the 28th of this month and he has an appointment to check to make sure he followed everything with the probation. Is anything else done to remove the no contact order. Thanks for any information.

If he has a no contact order set in place, why would he even WANT to contact that person. They very clearly don't need to be having contact with one another.

Maybe they have kids

Doe she want to speak to him?

It depends on who issued the contact order - family court or criminal court. The criminal court one may end with his probation but he might still have one with family court. In that case he's have to petition in family court to get it dropped.

Why was it ordered?

She asked for it. Then wondered why he wouldn't answer her calls. Saying things like "Your daughter wants to talk to you why wont you answer" when she wanted to talk to him about their daughter and needing money.

I think she asked for it so she had an excuse to not let their daughter see him. At the criminal court date she tried making him sound like a bad person and the judge actually told him to go for visitation as soon as possible because I think he might have seen what she was doing too. But I don't exactly know the real reason.

I would have him call the courts to know when it's up.
