Feeling BH sooner with subsequent pregnancies?

I'm having some really intense BH contractions tonight. They hurt, and they take my breath away. I don't remember feeling BH this intense until the last month or two with my daughter. Anyone else feeling them sooner in a subsequent pregnancy?

this pregnancy i started having them around 16 weeks.

I'd never really had them in my earlier 2 pregnancies. I started getting them around 18-19 weeks with the last one.

it would depend, really. sometimes they felt like actual labor. i found if i drank more water they would stop. now, water doesn't even help lol.

I just started feeling them a few days ago! It feels like I was socked in the stomach like I have to catch my breath. Way more intense. But my doc said its normal unless I'm having cramping 5 minutes apart then that's when I worry. But it's not that at all.

Mine have been coming every couple of minutes for a few hours now, and yes, I've been drinking water. It happens from time to time, though.

You are due just a week after me too! Must get worse as we have more babies! Smurf if I know! The water thing never works for me anyways ;)

Oh yes. With this baby three i had them realllllly early.
They were intense and frequent and still are.

yes, at about 19 weeks with my third pregnancy.

however.. only way to know is to get checked. if you're having them more often then every 10 minutes, you should go get checked out at L&D

drink plenty of water.. most of the time (I'm sure you know this) they're caused by dehydration

Yeah, I try to stay hydrated. I did drink a cup of coffee today, so maybe that dehydrated me a little.

Baby number three they took my breath away and stopped me in my tracks no matter what I was doing or where I was. Painful stuff.

I never knew wut bh were until my second daughter bcuz I never had them with my first daughter so when I got them with my second daughter I was scared bcuz I could be walking in Wal-Mart nd have to stop where ever I was nd hold onto something nd breathe thru them. nd this pregnancy ive gotten them early like at 10/11 weeks but not really bad yet

That was difficult to read. Why can't you just spell out the word 'and'?
