Man SLAPS baby on a plane

This really made my blood boil.

He called him a racial slur and slapped him so hard he bled.


Ugh...if that was my son I would not of been able to hold back from hitting that man.
I am surprised honestly that no one did...the Mom said she was in shock

Holy hell! I fly with dd a lot, sometimes by myself! If someone ever did anything like that you better bet I would punch them.

I would have beat the smurf out of him an got of because I was defending my child. Old man needs to die already.

I was totally envisioning some douchebag looking guy...and yup.

The guy who did that lost his job because of this.

They said he is facing up to a year in prison...that really surprised me. I thought for sure it would be longer

I was so pissed when I saw this story not only because it's wrong but because I have been on that flight from Min to atl on Detla air with my crying half black child. It makes me sick thinking that could have been my child.

That man needs to die.

To the people saying he needs to die, don't you think that's a little harsh? Jail, YES, definitely, but DEATH? For something he did while under the influence. Being drunk does not excuse his actions, but we all know alcohol removes inhibitions, including our internal filter. He more than likely didn't give 2 smurfs when he decided to do what he did, because that internal filter was turned off.

Like I said, I think he needs some jail time. I think he needs a serious fine. He's already lost his job. But saying he should die is serious overkill.

That said, if someone slapped my child on a plane, I'd have sucker punched the mother smurfer back. I don't like planes as it is, I dare someone to make the trip worse, and lay a hand on princess butthead while I'm there.

I would have gone psycho on him if he touched my kid. I could deal with hateful words, but you do not touch my child!

I can't help but wonder what's going on with him though. I mean, to do something like that is just not normal. Makes me wonder if there's something really tragic/stressful in his life that would cause him to become that person.

What he did was horrible, but to wish death on someone for that isn't much better.

For all you know, he's mentally unstable or parts of this are being embellished. You don't know and you can't lay judgment until all the evidence is in place. If it was as cut and dry as the media's making it out to be, he'd be in jail already.

Two wrongs don't make a right. He did a horrible thing, but he doesn't deserve death, not for something that could either be A- blown out of proportion since none of us were there, or B- not fully his fault. If he's got a mental handicap, sometimes a screaming child can set that off.

What are your guesses as far as mental handicaps go? He is the president of a company...well was. My guess is he is racist to begin with and has anger problems....especially when drinking. The Mom said he smelled of alcohol and rubbed his face against hers. He could have a drinking problem
