OB/gyn

My OB told me since im so little (short 4'  when i get my contractions, im just gonna feel my stomach tightening up. True or is she on something good?

Err, I'd find a new OB. If she seriously told you all you would feel is your stomach tightening. Wow.

You will feel your stomach tightening when you start having contractions -- no matter how short/tall you are, but that won't be all you'll feel when the contractions get stronger. I have no idea what your OB is talking about, haha.

It has nothing to do with your size.. contractions are going to feel that way because you're contracting lol.

Uhm you do feel some stomach tightening but everyone's different in what they feel. Some people feel a lot and some people feel only a little bit.

Same thing i thought, i laughed about it and shurged it off.
I shared cause i thought it would be a good laugh for some of you. Lol

Good thing you didn't take her seriously -- could you imagine going into the laboring process only expecting your stomach tightening?! Woof.

I wonder, has your OB ever given birth? Contractions hurt like hell, whether you're tall or short... she's silly.

LOL i know right and she looked dead serious about it.
But hey it would be nice haha she's not my original OB she.was just someone i had to see cause my.OB wasn't there.

regardless of your size, contractions are going to feel the same as they would for someone who is 6 feet tall
