Why does seeking a therapist to help you raise your self esteem, regardless of what your body looks like warrant an eyeroll?

We rarely have sex when I'm pregnant. Its been like this all three times.


Just doll yourself up (if it makes you feel better)..forget about your belly for now & just have sex!

No I was knd of venting about feeling fat not at all "sexy". I want to have sex, but it's kind of hard to get into the mood whe you feel like a cow.

Hence where a therapist would come in handy. You're not into it. You've got it all figured out and are just accepting feeling like a water buffalo for the duration of your pregnancy. Which is fine, I just don't get the eyerolling at the mere suggestion of a therapist.

Lol come on most of us women feel a little "fat," or "unattractive" at least at some point during pregnancy. Seeking therapy for being a hormonal pregnant chick with a bout of insecurity is a little silly.
