If you want us to 'guess the baby's birth weight' then we need those options to guess, not what he's already measuring.

Well I was almost 6lbs at birth, I'm 5'7', my husband was 10lbs at birth and is 5'8'. Our kids together were 8lbs and 9lbs, my oldest was 8lbs but I don't remember what her bio as at birth, I think 8-9lbs. Genetics certainly play a part but it's also about your pregnancy. My youngest who was my biggest baby was so big because I had issues with pre-e and gentatioal diabetes. She started out at the 98% for height and weight but quickly fell, now she is in the 5% for height and weight at 4 years old and has been for awhile. My husbands sisters were all tiny, 4-5lbs, he was a monster, LOL

I know a girl who had a baby boy back in November, she was at 38 weeks gestation I believe & her baby only weighed 4 lbs (not sure how many oz). He stopped growing, so they induced her. But he was 100% healthy, just very tiny. I honestly think your baby's birth weight should be bigger than 5 lbs. I'm gonna guess 7 lbs. Or are you asking how big we think he is now?
