randon rant about "friends"

This is real random BUT It really pisses me off when people all want to do something, or go somewhere when I have my kids but as soon as I Can do things NO one wants to do anything and I get stuck alone.. On my ONE night I can go do something.. like example my friend bitched i spent a week with my ex at his place so tonight I was like I can come over and we can chill out watch movie have girl talk I dunno.. she said yeah could do that and than i get all ready to go and she doesn't text me back UGH.. THE SmUrf..
does this happen to anyone else? kinda put me in a smurf mood and made me not wanna do anything tonight.. guess ill wash the cake off my face and wrap myself lol ..

Yes. I don't talk to them anymore because it happened so often I realized they were never really my friends.

Call her?I usually make plans in advance and if something comes up for one of my friends they text /call me as soon as they find out or vice versa. Respect and honesty is important in any relationship that I have. I don't think I could remain friends with someone who makes plans and just didn't pick up their phone or text back when I'm waiting.

It is just a big piss off becuase she texts me all the time and tells me all her problems, and i try to be close to her but she always pulls smurf like this.. it's a little upsetting, and like she always complains that none of her friends who have offered to help her with her 4 month old actually offer to babysit him or give her a break, or she posted a status does anyone wanna have coffee and I said ME and she like never even responded and avoided it all together.. SAME! A few friends would be like "aw we never hang out!" and then I would tell them just text me when they're free.. I would never get a text. So I would text them and ask if they wanted to hang out and there was always SOME reason they couldn't. Eventually I stopped asking but they would also post stuff on fb like "i'm bored, who wants to do something?" I would always offer to hang out but then they'd just not reply and I don't think it was just to me.. I think it was to other people to. I think these people just want to KNOW someone wants to hang out with them and just sit around and do whatever they wanna do. It sucks.

I had a friend exactly like that. (She didn't have a baby though) We'd been friends for like 7 years. It wore me the hell out. We aren't friends anymore. I still have her on my Facebook but we don't communicate other then "liking" Facebook pics and statuses.
You don't need someone in your life who is just talking about their problems over and over. It gets depressing and old.

The first part just sounds like adults having conflicting schedules.

The second sounds like she was interested but something came up. Probably a guy.

yeah her ex comes into town and takes up ALL her time. and we never see her, but she gets mad if I hang out with my ex because of dumb reasons.. I get we all have kids but blowing me off like twice sucks, this is why our frienship ended twice

It's why I have so few friends. Lots of acquaintances, few real friends. I was sick of "We really need to hang out more!" And then when I can... nothing. OR... guys wanting to hang out at the expense of having sex. I had one "friend" who used to talk smurf to me all the time. I stood up to him, we didnt talk for years. He then moved back to Colorado and was all "OMG MEEKO! (My nickname) I MISSED YOU!" I was all "Dude, you called me a smurfing whore when I was leaving the father of my child, you called me diseased when I wouldn't sleep with you, yet I was a whore?" He said he was on a lot of drugs and really messed up back then. Fair enough.

Well when we started talking again he was hitting on me, wanting me to be with him or have a threesome with his wife. Since breaking up with Tony I haven't wanted to be with ANYONE and have made that clear. I'm not ready. So he calls me childish and smurf because I wont sleep with him and is all "It's just sex." Freaking smurf. I was going to let him back into my life to be a friend, but I guess that's not good enough.

Guys are smurfs. I also met a guy that was really sweet the night I met him.... and nothing since then. Wont even say hello. Dick.

And my girlfriends are few, as most have burned me bad. I can tell you a smurfing doozy of a story about my old "best friend." I'll only tell that if anyone wants to ask, but she makes the smurffiest of friends look like a saint!

It sounds like you're both doing the exact same things. You two should bind over that and cut one another some slack.

I actually like understand when he is in town and am supportive of their "relationship" even though he does smurffy things to her, and dont get upset or mean about him, even though he has a girl he is with but is with her to (he uses the one his "with" for money and her car, be lazy), but she give me lecture about hanging out with my ex and we live in the same town and I don't spend my every breathing moment with him and I try to make time for her,
