my SO's best friend's name is shannon

OH MY GOD!! Yes!!! *swoon* this name was high on my boys list. I love the name Shannon Thaddeus.

I like it better on a boy. I grew up with a boy cousin named shannon. When I got older I was suprised to see it on a girl

well, that's good, because you have a boys name for a name.

I prefer it for a boy, since that is it's original form. However, I think the name is dated and ugly as a whole.

It's ugly on Boy & a girl...

I'm used to seeing it as a feminine name, thus prefer it on a girl. That's just me.
