Quoting Preggo Bear Claw:" She calls me everyday but - I now only answer every other day because if I don't she floods my voicemail ... [snip!] ... won't try and get all crazy possessive - as for keeping her grandchild from her, should I? I don't wanna keep fueling her fire."
Honestly, I don't think a grandparent can even file a paternity suit. It has to be done by the supposed father.
And I'm just saying what I would do personally. Then again, I cannot handle people being intrusive and crossing boundaries like that.
If it were me, I'd tell her how uncomfortable she was making me feel. I'd tell her not show up at my appts. I'd tell her not to show up at the hospital. I'd tell her not to call me unless it was important. And then
if she didn't respect my wishes, I would certainly not bring her grandchild over. She has a place in your family and she needs to learn where it is and what you'll allow. But I'm kindof hardhearted when it comes to people trying to 'use' me. For an experience, for time with my children, whatever.
