went through SO's phone to get a picture of LO he had that I wanted to print out, and I came across a picture of suboxone labels that were laying on our kitchen counter. uh, what the hell? why? me and SO are both recovering addicts, so I'm just confused as smurf. If there was a reason why they were there, why did I not know about it?

I mean, his mom or dad could have been prescribed them and maybe threw them in the trash and he found them and wanted to know why, but I look at the texts between him and his mom and no where in there was the picture sent to her or talked about it.

I feel like if he did have them, or came across them - then I should have been informed??

Yes you should have especially if he has a past problem. Talk to him about it as calmly as you can. If he gets defensive then you should worry. Could be nothing, could be something but you won't know unless you ask

true, we both have a problem. so I kind of want to know why it was on our kitchen counter. And there were multiple labels of it. I never heard of his mom or dad say they were on suboxone. So I'm just curious. I want to know now.

Tell him the truth, that you were getting a picture of LO to print out. I don't see why that would be a problem.

I hope it is nothing to for you relationships sake. I know what its like when you realize someone has been hiding something from you when its something like this.

only because he is super defensive and non-confrontational. He'll make a big deal out of anything. It's soo annoying. I could calmly approach him and he still gets confrontational. It's so hard to tell if he's ever telling the truth or not when you confront him. He gets defensive if he's telling the truth or if he's lying.
