true, I never look at the possibility like that. Hopefully I am just over thinking all of this. SO's been his same old self. And I know how he is when he is using. He is non functional. but who knows. He lied to me before about it for over 2 months. but we also weren't living together then and I didn't see him often.

his work is also full of junkies and smurf like that. crazy smurf always happens with drugs at his work, but SO always tells me how he stays out of it.

Maybe that is what happened. That would be really unfortunate. Maybe your SO confronted him about it privately and just didn't delete the picture from his phone? Maybe it was just a son/father type of deal.

true. But I'd still want to be informed about that, even if SO just pulls me aside to let me know what is going on. Especially if it's going on in the same house. (we live in their basement apartment) and especially since he was spending alone time with SO while I've ran errands. I wouldn't be okay with finding out he was using and being around my child or possibly using while watching my child.

I can tell when my SO is using too. At least you didn't live with him when he hid it from you.. I lived with my dude. Lol I felt like a complete and honest fool. I was goooone, but I gave him another chance and I was happy I did because he has proved himself to me and I am so proud of him that he is sober.

But damn, so does SO's job. He could get hooked up so easily.. But I know he stays out of it, i have faith in him.

That's so good! I'm thankful I have SO another chance too. 5 months after getting back together I got pregnant with LO.

I just know I couldn't go through that again.

And believe me, I know you cant. I couldn't go through it again either. My heart would be completely shattered. We just have to have faith that they care enough about us/our children to stay clean and be the fathers we know they can be.

Being a recovering addict myself, I could never choose drugs over my child. I just couldn't. But I now plenty of people do.

well I asked him earlier this evening and thank god I did. When he came home from work the other morning he said they were just laying on the kitchen counter. So he thought that his dad relapsed, took a picture for evidence in case he lies to say they were never there. He then asked his mom why they were in the house and his dad got them from the clinic for a woman a few doors down that he is trying to help.

It was cute the little speech he gave me about how he know to never do anything to risk loosing his own family and we are the best thing in his life. It was cute and we ended up having shower sex. lol
