Won't stop crying

posted 23rd Feb
My son is 2 1/2 months old and is normally a super good baby...never fusses unless he's tired or hungry, loves playing, loves bath time...I'm super lucky.
But since we've been in Arizona (my boyfriend wanted to see his grandma before she passes), he hasn't been sleeping well at all, is always fussing, constantly wants to nurse, and is just not in a happy mood. He was fine on the plane, but almost as soon as we landed he started being a little turd.

Any idea how to help him stop or why he's doing it? We're from Washington, so I was thinking maybe the dry air is bothering him like it is me, but I have no idea if he would already be sensitive to it.

And on a sweet note, here's his daddy, him and great grandma:

Adorable pic btw... She must've been so happy to see both LO and your SO

If you think it's the dry air... I'd just go to a local target or walmart and pick up the cheapest humidifier you can find... cuz who cares if it breaks after a few weeks since you won't need it then anyways.

Could his ears be plugged?

That is such a sweet picture. I'm sorry your LO is doing this. It might be the air like you said. Personally, my DS flips his smurf every time we try and go anywhere vacation wise. I mean this kid won't sleep for days. It might just be the new environment and he senses your unease. I hope it gets better!

When I fly to see family for the first 2-3 days LO is cranky and doesn't sleep well either. I just figure it's the altitude change.

Thank you   And yeah, she was thrilled to see them both...she hadn't met our son and hadn't seen my SO in 5 years. So I'm glad we were able to make it down
He was 14 the last time he came to Tucson and so we have no idea where anything is. I might talk to him about getting one though if Buggy won't stop crying...this is just getting ridiculus. lol Thank you, I actually forgot about humidifiers....

I don't think so...he's been sucking on his binki and nursing all the time...he just nursed for 2 hours straight (ow btw lol) His ears are clean and everything...I just don't know how to make sure they're not plugged for sure...

I love it...we're gonna get it framed when we get home
Usually my LO is super well behaved, doesn't matter where he is (we've gone to my hometown before which is about 80 miles from home and he was fine). It might be that and he can tell his daddy is upset and his playpen is not his favorite place to sleep...I just wish I knew how to make him sleep better lol

Hopefully he gets used to it...we're here until Wednesday and he's driving us all crazy and he's not sleeping good

dont know why hes doing it but try white noise for the fussing. Look up baby got colic on youtube. never failed when my LO was that age and fussy. if it doesnt work id think more along the lines of earache from the flight or something.

He has a little white noise lamby thing that we got him for Christmas from target...it helps him stay asleep but not fall asleep. Bramhs Lullaby usually calms him down but it's not doing much right now :/

Since he's breastfed, could it be something I ate that's upsetting his stomach? I don't think I've eaten anything that I don't normally eat, but I'm not sure

Its hard to know when they are that age isnt it and even harder then sometimes to get them to stop. I hope he settles soon for you though.
