What should I do?

Okay so my dd wants to be held constantly even when she's sleeping if I set her down for a second she screams bloody murder. I can't hold her all the time tho because then I can't do anything, everyone tells me to let her cry but that seems so mean.

Wear her. That way you can get smurf done and she'll be content. Don't just let her cry, she needs you to comfort her.

I have thought about that, I don't let her cry. It makes me feel horrible every tells me I'm spoiling her or starting a bad habit.

you definately are not spoiling her and I think its awful when parents just let their babies scream and cry. Try wearing her. My son absolutely loves it and usually falls right to sleep

You can't spoil a baby! Don't listen when people tell you that. And definitely don't let her just cry, they need that affirmation that her needs will be met and that happens when you respond to get cries. You can war her or just hold her. She's still pretty young right?

Yeah she's 3 weeks old today.

Then don't worry about it. She's still super new to this world and you're what she knows. She needs the familiarity and the comfort. The house hold stuff can wait. Or if its that big of a deal you can wear her for now. But they do grow out of needing to be held all the time.
