what kind do you prefer/think works best? i had one 5 yrs ago but thought it was smurffy quality.. i am thinking about this one originally $299.95 on sale for $55.49

The 3 MHz is an early term and general purpose Doppler probe. It will work very well through most full term pregnancies. The 2 MHz probe was designed to accommodate late term and obese pregnancies since it works best at 10 cm and larger depths. A 3 Mhz is more sensitive than a 2 Mhz probe and can pick up baby's heartbeat as early as 8-10 weeks gestation.

I bought that one on eBay got it in about 2-3 days. Found the hub at 8 weeks 2 days and haven't had trouble finding it since

I got the sonoline c1 the other day and think it works great. I was 10 weeks when I got it and although it was tricky at first to get used to what I was looking for I've finally got the hang of it
