Question.. (TMI warning)

This may be long but I'm not sure if it's normal or not.
From wed night till Friday I had food poisoning. I couldn't keep anything down or drink anything. I still Breastfeed my 10 month old she nursed no problems but I'm taking my supply had dropped a bit. Then friday out of nowhere I started bleeding really bad with clots & all. I still haven't had my PP period before this. Now the bleeding is heavy with clots then goes away to nothing at all & then comes back. Is this normal or is this something I should go get looked at for? Could this just be my First period after being pregnant?

Sorry if it's a dumb question I have asked other people and some say it's something to get looked at for like go to the ER but I don't know what to think.

Not sure but ever since I got mine back at about 8 months it's on and off the whole week every month... ANNOYING!
