Ever broke a bone?

My husband and I were talking about this. I have never broken a bone. I fractured my ankle once but that was so long ago I don't really remember.
So, what does it feel like? (Obviously it hurts.)
I looked it up and come guy says it hurts worse than being shot.

The day b4 my oldest turned 5 he broke his arm in two places. He didn't cry or whine or nothing. We have pictures of him sitting on the hospital bed with his dads phone talking to people just chillin. LOL

I was a pedestrian in a drunk driving hit and run. It broke off my lower tibia bone on my left leg. It felt like my entire smurfing leg was on fire, it was excruciating.

Yes, I've fractured my wrist twice. The first time it happened I went into shock and passed out.

When I was younger I got tripped by a dog on a chain and cracked my arm in two places on a rock. It hurt like hell! It was a weird numb, dull kind of pain. The back fracture I have now hurts worse though.

I broke my leg when I was 5. I don't remember it hurting too bad. I kept walking on it until my dad saw me walking weird and took me to the hospital. I got my cast and then a few days later I had to get a new cast because I had broken off my first cast by running around with it on lol

Sometimes the area feels numb. You may also see some swelling and/or bruising.

Thankfully I have never broken one however when my sister did I felt her pain.
She twisted her foot 180 degrees, her foot was literally backwards. I was there when it happened. She slipped walking down a small incline in her front yard. She had to have pins and plate put in. I knew she was in serve pain because I was in pain just looking at it. She still have issues with her foot and this happened like 5 years ago.

I broke my hand & finger playing basketball. It hurt and maybe it was the location but it wasn't unbearable pain.

I broke my neck and collar bones in a car accident in 07. My neck felt like when you scrape your knee and it's hot at first. Kind of like being on fire after about 10 minutes. The collar bones hurt worse than anything I've ever experienced! I couldn't sleep on my side for months.

I've broken 4 bones. My middle toe, my collar bone, my elbow, and a rib.
I only remember what my toe and rib felt like, though. My toe constantly throbbed and it just hurt and burned so bad. I broke my rib coughing. I coughed hard and I felt a very strong pop in my chest. I didn't think anything about it because I was so sick. But then it started to hurt when I breathed and when I coughed I felt like I was going to die. I honestly thought I was dying and something was seriously wrong with me. I went to a doctor and he told me it was asthma, but I knew it wasn't. So I went to the ER and they ran every test on me. Ultrasounds, x-rays, everything. The x-ray showed my broken rib.
I had to be on percosets for it. It was awful.
