Omg I have same exact problem with my daughter, she cry everytime and becaus she is afraid she holds it in for days then it hurts her and it's just a cycle. Her pedi ordered miramax but I been afraid to give her because I don't want her to be dependent on it so I been monitering her fiber intake etc but we still have bad days and good days. I will definitely try the fiber once if not Im just going to have to give her the laxative. Poor kiddos.
big hard poops or not going often enough are from diet..He's probably lacking fiber or enough water..I'd seriously evaluate everything he eats..Good luck
