Try non-dark green veggies. Like lettuce, cucumbers, green beans. I would definitely ask before you put it in a milkshake. I didn't even think of that.   And he will love the fiber one bars. LO always cries for a second one. I had poops like that until I was in high school. It didn't stop until I became a vegetarian. Does he have a really meat heavy diet? Is it possible he's getting too much iron?

Quoting MunchkinWrangler:" Aw crap. I forgot about that. Someone had mentioned to me that the green veggies help them poop, and ... [snip!] ... is more of a veggie-guy than a fruit fanatic. He generally sticks to bananas (obviously a no-go), strawberries and raspberries."

Will he eat cucumber or celery? Those are higher water content veggies.

No, he doesn't. He's not a huge meat-eater. He's a bit sensitive to dairy.. but does fine with skim milk and hard cheeses. He's gone the past 6 months without problems... but it all started up again. I've tried to think of anything that's changed in his diet... but I can't.

Oops, yes mix miralax.... it shouldn't be gritty or slimy... odd. Sorry!

Good luck to you. DD struggled with constipation from 6mos - 3 yrs old. Constipation is for the birds...

Oh yes! I forgot you can mix it in with food as well such as yogurt or pudding... ect.

No. He doesn't like either of those. He likes green beans, peas, broccoli, carrots, corn, spinach... and that's about it for veggies. He eats carrots in mass amounts.

Maybe cut out milk and only do almond milk? LO loves almond milk. Does he eat yoghurt? Or take a pro-biotic?

Miralax isn't a true laxative. It is non habit forming.

We did that in the past. It didn't make a difference. He eats a yogurt pretty much daily.

Okay, man this makes it a bit more difficult for you.

FYI, stay away from corn. It doesn't digest properly. Hm.. green beans are good as well as carrots.

Have you given him a probiotic along with the yogurt?

Isn't activia supposed to have a high probiotic content like more than regular yogurt to help keep you regular?

Lol, I'm aware that corn is not great for you.... considering it's full of natural sugars and comes out looking the same... but thanks..

Yep, but dd eats an activia a day and her endo and pedi suggested I give her acidophilus as well.
