Hubby won't touch my belly :(

posted 23rd Feb
I'm 37 wks pregnant with our second child and my husband doesn't like to touch my belly. He was the same way with our first son, and it upsets me. I'm not one of those moms that gets all gushy about feeling the baby move, but I feel like if I have to endure it then he should have to as well. When I try to talk to him about it he just says he doesn't like it and it shouldn't matter bc he is a good dad. WHICH - he is a pretty awesome dad, but why do some men feel weird about pregnancy belly and others are head over heels? Am I just being hormonal and letting this get to me?

Yeah....he's right, it doesn't really matter. I understand your being emotional since you're feeling the baby move all day everyday, but really.....if he doesn't feel comfortable touching it all the time that's 100% fine.

My SO was the same way. It's not that he didn't want to, but he was actually affraid. He said it reminded him of that movie "Aliens" lmao. He eventually got over it though.

My SO couldn't even look at my belly when the baby was kicking without freaking out. He seen one to many alien movies lol. But he is a great father now and that is all that matters.

Lol, I'm glad my SO isn't the only one. The first time Colton kicked him we were cuddling watching a movie & he literally jumped across the room.

Aw, I would have laughed so hard lol. It got to the point where my SO would ask me "Is the baby kicking" before he would even hug me XD.

Lol, it's kind of adorbale how scared they are. I used to ask him all the time if he could imagine what it felt like from the inside. He would be like, eeew I don't wanna know & literally shiver. So funny.
