We have this problem with Jacob.

We have to have a male accompany him into the locker room so his step dad or real dad have to do it.

Other wise he's forced to dress in the public restroom across the hall in front of me. Which he does not approve.

So what did you end up doing?

I took him in the woman's bathroom. There was another woman with her kids who came in right when we were leaving and she gave him a quick peak, but didn't say anything and her girls didn't seem phased. I guess until I'm told not to do that when we are in process, I'm just going to do it. He's only 5. Besides, he was tired from swimming and was way more focused on getting some water and a snack after getting dressed to care about the other people LOL

Yeah they told us right at the beginning of swim lessons, that we were NOT allowed to do it.

So I don't even bother try sneaking him in. I think it's ridiculous but what ever to them. They only have 1, yes 1 family bathroom for like the 50 -100 kids that go to swim lessons, and it's usually "saved" even though we're not allowed to do that either.

That's what they told me too. *shrug* I'm going to see about a different pool. I heard the Y has family dressing rooms and a children's section in the locker room. Sounds WAY more family friendly.

Yeah not many options here. We already have to drive into Vancouver to go to the pool. There's only 2 pools here. 1 is big and annoys Jacob so we go to the smaller one which unfortunately isn't very family friendly.
