please help

Ok im going to get straight to the point. M fiances brothers girlfriend is currently around 5 months ppregnant. She has had no prenatal care and is an active drug user. She has recently admitted to using heroin crack ecstasy alcohol...etc. she is still using knowing how harmful this is to that poor child growing in her stomach. I want to get child services involved but there's one problem. I have no idea where to say she is. This girl and my fiances brother are part of some group known as the rainbow gathering. They travel from state to state and make money by begging on the streets. Someone please help me help her unborn child. She doesn't care what she's doing to her baby and doesn't seem to care how much pain this baby will be in once its born. I don't know what I can do to help.

Child services can't do anything while she's pregnant.. They can drug test her when she has the baby, which will probable happen anyways since she's having no prenatal care

Sadly child services can't do anything until the baby is born unless they will get the police involved and have her arrested for drug possession but most won't. Once she has the baby if she is using that much she will be tested and when she fails they will take the baby. I would still call child services though so she doesn't some how get out of a drug test and ends up leaving the hospital with the baby.

As messed up as it sounds you can't really get Child protective Services involved until the baby is born.  

My heart breaks for that baby.

The Rainbow Family typically gathers in one big park at a time, don't they? I have known TONS of rainbow people and never knew any of them to "go state to state begging on the streets." They do attract a lot of runaways and bad elements though.

Find a Rainbow Family group online and post her pictures. Most of them would help her if they knew she was using those drugs while pregnant. They're not exactly like, the Manson family. Lots of good people, for the most part. A little misguided maybe, but the whole deal is about peace and love.

That's another issue. Shes planning on delivering her child by herself. They believe that the baby will be fine! They're not planning on going to a hospital or midwife or even getting the baby a birth certificate. There has to be something I can do. That baby is being put in more danger every second that girl stays out on the street.

I wasn't implying the whole group does that. I mean her and my fiances brother do. And I know they're supposed to be gathering in Orlando soon.

I know a girl that was snorting 30's her entire pregnancy. Idk how she has that baby.

Oh my... Definitely call child services and explain it to them. Knowing all of that they may get the police involved and get her arrested for drug possession because if she is using drugs during her pregnancy the baby is probably going to have a lot of complications and will need medical intervention when he or she is born. At least if they get her arrested they may be able to get court ordered rehab.

Ok, well I know that the general concept is "off the grid" and to just be away from "Babylon," or regular society, but they do utilize the internet sometimes too. I would just start searching for Rainbow Gathering fb pages, stuff like that, and reach out to whoever you can. Send out her picture and let them know she needs help. They will look for her and try. I have friends who spent much of their pregnancies at rainbow gatherings, and drug abuse while pregnant does not seem to be encouraged at all within that community.

I think im going to just give child services a call. It can't hurt. Ill let them know the entire situation and I pray she gets sent to rehab. Please pray for this baby!!!
