Quoting GrumpsMama.:" Poor baby!' SO's moms cat did that to LO's chest. It was bad. "
Quoting ★ Raych ★:" She's tougher than me, that's for sure... didn't seem to bother her all that much.. but damnit man, I ... [snip!] ... just doesn't know not to use his claws.. he's still youngish, maybe 6 months old? Our first cat, so I'm sorta at a loss here."
Quoting ×ø×K·ßear×ø×:" id be saying bye bye to the cat"
Quoting 1inpink2inblue:" Poor BABY! I would be declawing."

It's front claws are declawed. If they weren't, I wouldn't have taken a cat in. I don't agree with it so I couldn't have done it myself, for sure. But, it's something to look into if you REALLY wanna keep the cat and don't want DD continuously being scratched.
Quoting ~Cullen & Ridley's Mommy~:" His claws definitely need to be trimmed! And you need to teach him to not be so rough. I would assume ... [snip!] ... by his age that he isn't fixed yet, so after that they usually mellow down a bit. But the best thing is to train the cat. "
