getting scared

For about a week I've been having trouble getting good deep breaths in. I have a history of PE and had a ct scan. It came back normal. I had an echo as well and it was fine. Im freaking out that it could be my lungs. I know its not a panic attack this has been going on since last week and an all day thing. I cant take deep breaths in at all and it worries me. I was told if no better this weekend to go to the er. What could be causing this?

Chronic hyperventilation? Google it and see if it sounds right.

It kind of sounds like me except I dont have the numbness around mouth or fingertips. This feeling is awful

You don't have to have all of the symptoms. It's really caused by anxiety. Have you tried any of the suggestions to help?

I have and im still not feeling well. I work in a dr office witha pulmonary dr ill talk to him tomorrow

As in pulmonary embolism? That is something I wouldn't be playing around with!

I had a ct scan Tuesday and it came back negative for a pulmonary embolism

They have me doing a breathing test tomorrow morning. My mom wonders if it can be asthma? Whatever it is it better not hold up my surgery
