birthday planning/ideas

So Chloe's bday is in June, Emily's is in July only TWO WEEKS apart.
In our situation, one party would be better but it's Emily's first so I reeeeally want seperate parties.

Chloe's past 2 birthdays were both Luau pool parties.
I'm sick of that damn theme.

What should I do?
Where are good places to hold birthdays other than halls and pools?

Maybe like the zoo? Orrr...

yea not that much lol around 20 people which is why i can get away with a smaller place. for a bigger place i would maybe rent out some pavilions at a park or something

We have more adults than kids go too.

I'm thinking of just taking the 4 of us to dinner and telling the grandparents, aunts and uncles to meet us or something.
I'm so sick of having to plan huge parties for our huge families.

I'm letting Jake's mom plan Leahs this year since it'll be the first birthday theyve spent with her. No idea what we're doing though but she's got a lot of kid cousins, and it'll be out ay his parents farm so hopefully we can plan something fun. Last year we just took her shopoing lol

I'm trying to be creative and hope some ingenious plan pops in my head but I have no smurfing energy to think creatively..

I seriously hate people...sooo...I hate having to play nice nice with everyone.
