No. Maybe. I don't know. I don't think I'd buy anyone a designer purse, even myself. I find them to be pretty ugly.

My mom got DD a small tinker bell purse and she's asked for a hello kitty one, the ones they have in the little girls section are like $5 but she's way too rough with her stuff to get a designer. Plus she always loses her purse

I got an old coach bag from MIL that is probably a few years old. When DH bought me my Miche purse I gave the coach purse to DD. She doesn't take it out in public but the way she is with stuff I would not spend that much on a purse for her.

I can think of at least 4 in my closet that would be perfect for playtime. :-)

No.

I hope I do not raise my kid to idealize brand names.

If she was a teen and actually had smurf to put in a purse, I would buy her a fake designer from the flea market if she pointed it out.

I've never understood the whole designer purse thing. What makes designer purses superior to 15-20 dollar purses?

I know for me my Coach bags last forever longer than most bags I bought growing up.

I'm not into designer bags. I cant imagine encouraging that habit.
BUT, I'm into other costky things that she will probably get into at some point.

Is it the stitching or something? I dunno. I still couldn't bring myself to spend hundreds of dollars on a purse, unless it doubles as an inflatable life raft in case of a flood.

This is my purse. 15 dollars on sale. I love it.

I couldn't imagine paying 300 dollars for this.

Nope, that's real silly. They must be rollin in the dough. Little kids don't take care of things properly. I would buy my TEEN a designer purse for birthday or Christmas. Like, 14+, if she really had her heart set on it.
