Toddler wearing :D

posted 22nd Feb
DS is 16 months and 30lbs and loves being carried.
We just got our new toddler carrier and I love it. The kids are weightless

My 2.5yr old took this while I was doing the dishes. I've got a terrible cold and I look awful >_>

DS decided that when I left the room, he wanted to climb up on the computer desk and try to break his neck, so on my back he went

Whaaat?
I'm on a couple babywearing pages on FB and there's mama's who even wear their like, 5 yr olds.
Now I don't think I'll do this but my kids are still kinda young so I'm gonna keep wearing them til it gets uncomfortable. They love it.
It'll really help with grocery shopping, my 2.5 yr old would run off and hates holding our hands, so now I can throw her in the cart and wear DS and not have to push two carts or use those giant ones with the double seat on the back,.

I wore my nearly 18m old out in my eego the other day, everyone was looking at me.... Makes things so much easier, except he was being cheeky and leaning back so it made it look like he had no neck support :/

We actually got this to replace our Ergo, because my kids are giants and the Ergo body was way too short for them.
I love it though. Can't wait to see what sorts of looks I'll get lol.

My kids really didn't like being worn when they were younger...But now they fight over who gets to be in the carrier

What carrier is this? I REALLY want to get one for my 20m/o but cannot make the decision on what to get! You and I have similar builds too so I think the one in the pictures would work well for us. DD is a tiny little nugget though, she barely weighs 24 lbs lol.

Its called an Action Baby Carrier, toddler version   They have a plus size carrier which I got, but you have to email them to special order it. I think its around $140 I can't remember lol. I like it a lot though!

Thanks for the info! I thought I had decided on the ergo, then switched to the Boba, and now I really like this one! lol.

I like this one because the seat is 19" across and 18" tall. The Ergo was way too short and narrow for my kids at 13"x13" so they didn't get a good "knee to knee" seat. With this they do, plus its great for back carries because the shoulders are really nice and padded. and I like the double strap waist adjustment.
This "plus" version, even my 290lb 6'3 DH can wear it   but like I said, on the website, they don't advertise for the plus, because apparently it throws the workflow out of whack, but they DO make them

I was on my phone earlier, but here's the link:

It's $114 for the standard toddler and that is supposed to fit up to a 53" waist.
I'm 39" but I got the plus size just to be on the safe side.
