I think I will go ahead with the plus size too just to be safe. My waist is 43" but I'm always paranoid things will be too small, big girl probz lol. SO is 310 and 6'1" so maybe he can wear her too. I can always tighten enough to take out the extra to make it fit, right? That's sounds funny worded like that, but I don't know how else to ask it. lol. Like, even if the plus is plenty big, it won't be TOO big to where I can't wear it?

I don't think it would be TOO big. The smallest the plus size cinches down to is 38" I believe.
I've got plenty of extra webbing in mine.

I'm looking into a plus size carrier now that DD finally put on some weight I want to get something I can use on my back, cause we only have a Moby.

You said this goes up to 53" waist, so you mean the small of the waist? It doesn't need to go lower right? I have a wicked hourglass figure so I get concerned when I read "waist".

Also do you know of any other carriers this style that are good for plus size? DD is tiny in all aspects so its only my size thats the issue. TIA

It opens up to 53" around you dont necessarily have to wear it at your waist though. I do a high back SSC carry right under my boobs so I don't get a yucky muffin top  

Other carriers that'll fit plus size? Off the top of my head I know one of the Ergos fits bigger I think the performance? Also do a Google search for Two Mommas Design, Beco, Kinderpack, you can even get away with a mei tai. MRI tais don't have buckles but they tie, are easy on and off and can be used front and back for newbs through toddlers
