I didn't mean too

posted 22nd Feb
I don't know.

Seriously kid those excuses dont work anymore. How do you not mean to throw your brother's pacifier across the room?

Everytime DD gets caught doing something she isn't supposed to do I hear the same excuses. Then she whines and cries for half an hour. If you didn't do stuff to get in trouble you wouldn't be in trouble so stop whining.

"I wanna be good!!!" Is usually DD's thing when she gets into trouble.

Remember that the next time you just want to vent about something get over it.

lol this is a vent? When your child is showing his/her actions for a reason. They know things that should or should not be done. It also is a child, smfh and If I vent its not about my child knowing he did something wrong and is sorry for it, they don't think before doing things, just like you as an adult once in a while, get over it

It is everyday just about. She will be good all day them out of the blue she will hit her brother or throw stuff. She almost broke a picture a couple weeks ago throwing a ball at it.

Lmao @ this response. I'm sorry not all of us are as perfect as you are!
But when you enable your kids to the point that they think "sorry" fixes everything I'm gonna laugh.
Kids aren't stupid and know what they are doing most of the time. Sometimes it's just innocents but not always.

I am pretty sure that OP's point in this is the fact that after a while it's gets pretty damn old. And instead of her yelling and screaming at her kid and feeling bad for it, she can vent on here and get advice from other mom's who have this same issue and how they deal with it. I honestly wouldn't believe it, if you sat and said you never feel like venting about something your kid(s) do(es) wrong. I mean hell after a while it gets old, and the whole I am sorry doesn't always fix it when you know for a fact your child knows they are doing wrong.

That would aggravate the piss out of me!! I mean I have seen it too, and seriously it does get old. I guess I will have to come vent to pretty soon on what my DS will do lol. Don't worry my nieces and nephews do the same thing and did for years but finally grew out of it after a while. How old is your DD, and DS?

DD is five and DS is one. Obviously DS does not have understanding on what is right or wrong but DD knows a lot of the stuff she is doing is wrong but does it anyway. I am hoping when she goes to kindergarten the discipline expected in the class room will rub off on her and she will straighten up some at home. Of course I know she is a kid and will push buttons sometimes but some of the things she does are completely uncalled for.

I have been telling her for the last five minutes to stop yelling and running, guess what she is still doing?

Oh yeah at 5 she definitely should know. My niece is 5 and she finally grew out of the stage when my BIL and sister tried a new type of punishment. She has to stand on the wall...I know it might sound cruel but it works, actually all my nieces and nephews do it when they get in trouble. My BIL makes her do it if he's told her once to stop and she doesn't he tells her to go to the corner and she knows it means feet touch the wall and her face is straight looking at the wall with almost her nose touching and her hands behind her back until he tells her to get off. And i'll be darned it works. He was in the military so he deals with it differently then I'd have thought to. And then of course if she doesn't look at the wall the whole time he gives her one more chance and if she breaks it she gets spanked and sent straight back to the wall. Here is a pic from when my 5 nieces and nephew all decided they would get into the presents and we all spanked them and sent them to the wall, and they didn't do it again   It broke my hears seeing them having to be up agianst the wall but they needed to learn. And your right your DS isn't old enough to know better yet so it's really DD fault in the matter!

As soon as I can get it to pull up I will post it on here lol
