Which alarm system?

I am wanting to get an alarm system. I am on the fence and do not know which one is better. ADT or Comcast Xfinity? or is there anything else that is better?

I love ADT, but we don't have comcast here so I really don't know anything about that.

I have heard good and bad on both. Xfinity is a little cheaper, but ADT has been around with security for years and years.
