Pable Neruda Sonnet XVII....

Would it be weird to dedicate this part to a child?

"I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straight forwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way than this: where I does not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep."

No, I personally love Pablo Neruda. It seems fitting, the man just has a way with words even though I'm sure this was meant for a lover it can be applied here as well.

I think it's beautiful and speaks of a pure love that can easily translate to a child.
