Disabilty D&D

Ok so i just saw this T.V and was just wondering what your opinions are.

In 2010 a women found out that her husband had been attacked so bad that he had now been left with extreme brain damage . He can't walk , talk , fees himself , recognise ( not for certain ) or understand ( again not for.certain) . After a long time in hopstial he is now in a care home , she spent everyday by his side and still visits him every day now . They had just been approved for adopting when the attack happened .

Ok so now she is 33 ( I think ) and even though she still loves her husband and still visits him, she has not got another partner ( not married ) and is 5 months pregnant. So what do you think even though its technically cheating is it wrong she has moved on but still involves him. Should it be in sickness and in health as her vows said . Should she put her life on hold for the rest of her life ?

What do you think ?

Yes it's still cheating. She should have divorced him.

As much as id like to say id be thereno matter what. He is somewhere else and isnt capable of doing alot. I cant say i wouldnt do the same thing because IDK, it would be hard to stay married to someone in a home, who you never see and cant be intimate with and raise a famiy with. Idont blame her, i cant say exactly what id do in that situation, but i do not think it makes her a terrible person by any means

She should of absolutely divorced him. Its cheating regardless of the circumstances. Sure she can still be there for him and all that but its wrong to be out screwing other people while still married.

if she isn't ready for divorce then she shouldn't be ready to move on with another guy and start a family....

I've seen this firsthand a time or two and it's not black and white.

It's no one's place to judge.

Oh, and it's wedding vows, not vowels.

Totally agree this is also my opinon, but what if she is ready to move on but feels by divorcing him she is abandoning him in some way .

I have no idea what the right or wrong thing would be to do here. Logically I think that the woman is cheating on her husband, but then again if he has no hope of recovery I understand.

If it were me Idk what I would do. SO told me before that if something like that happened he doesn't expect me to stay and I'd be dumb if I did and not move on. But idk I would still feel like I was abandoning him and what if he suddenly got better enough to where he realized what was going on and I had left? I imagine he would be heartbroken and crushed that I abandoned him when he needed me the most.

It's a bad situation all around.

If he is that incapacitated, then he is probably not legally allowed to sign contracts and court related documents.

Maybe they had an agreement about what to do if they became incapacitated.

Smurfing someone else while married isn't wrong if the spouse is aware.
