Abnormal stool color...

My one month old has been pooping a really dark color.. It's not yellow & seedy like normal, it's like blackish green & smells awful (duh) but it usually doesn't. He used to poop everyday at least twice but lately it's only been once a day. What's going on about that & why is it that dark color??

I'm not sure what is normal for a formula fed baby... I breastfed my LO's.. If you are concerned you could call his pedi.

Have you changed formulas recently? As for the only going once a day, that's fine and normal.

Nope no changes! His pediatrician recommended I give him a little prune juice for constipation and I did but that was over a week ago! Maybe it's still from that.
