Quoting [ Kate + 1 ]:" I guess I dont really think of it as holding back or damaging to him. He has some speech issues/sensory ... [snip!] ... speech issues/sensory problems and goes to a special preschool so I'm used to taking things slower with him. I'm just nervous. "
I hear you mama, but us with um....how do I say this without offending...um, 'kids who got a little extra challenge' NEED to be stronger IMO. If we hang on to little things and help them go slower, are we really doing the best for them?
Mama, hes a big boy whos done a great job potty training, give him his big boy undies for bedtime! This has NOTHING to do with speech or sensory issues
