Today I bought 15 pairs of clothes for DD for $15 from a lady I met up with on an online yardsale. And they're practically brand new it looks like. They were all Children's Place and BassPro Shop brands. I love buying second-hand stuff. It saves so much money.  

Do you buy second-hand stuff or do you buy only new?
What do you think about people who buy second-hand?

Yep, sure do. I didnt with my first because I was being silly but I can find some good deals at the local consignment shop. Most have the tags still on them.

The only things I wont buy used is swim trunks, shoes and car seats.

I never used to. This time I bought a second hand cot change table and tall boy. Brand new the set is almost 4k. We got it all for 1k and almost brand new.

I won't buy second hand soft toys, shoes, bottles

I will buy used shoes if they're in decent shape. I just lysol the smurf out of them, lol. I found the coolest light up adult flip flops at a thrift store one time. I wore those things until the lights stopped working almost a year later, lol.

Yup! I practically live at Goodwill (obviously only buy the "good" stuff) and thrift shops (the ones here are locally owned, so I'm helping out a small business owner as well) I love second hand stuff.

How about used underwear with the stains? Those are hot.

Big yard saler right here. We go to yard sales all the time starting around April-October. I would say that 3/4 of my children's clothes are used and honestly not because we can't afford it but because I have an obsession with yard sales lol. Most of them look new and you would never know. There are some exceptions of course.

I shop at garage sales alot. I also pick stuff up from people's trash piles in front of their houses. I picked up perfectly good dressers, not one ding in them, on the curb in front of someone's house. It came with the bunk bed pieces too. How can you go wrong with an expensive bed set for FREE?

I dont usually buy clothes unless they are in perfect condition. I wont buy shoes either. I REFUSE to go into Goodwill any more. That place has fleas, atleast the ones near us do. I always walk out all bitten up. Gross.

We got a used car seat once. Daycare was downsizing and had 4 carseats 6 months old that they didn't need anymore. So we took it (free) so we had one in each car

I'm kinda surprised at all the shoe comments, I mean I wouldn't buy really nasty shoes but most kid's shoes barely get worn. I'm pickier on my stuff I don't buy much items for me at yard sales anyway but I would buy some shoes if I thought they looked in good condition.
